Terms of Service
By downloading or using Eye Color Identifier - IrisIQ ("IrisIQ", "the app"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
IrisIQ provides AI-generated eye color identification reports based on close-up iris photos you submit. Reports include named color, shade breakdown, rarity score, pattern notes, and similar hues. The service is for personal, educational use.
2. Subscriptions
Pro features (unlimited identifications, shade breakdown, rarity insights, collection) require an auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. Two plans are available: weekly ($4.99/week, no free trial) and yearly ($19.99/year, no free trial). Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Eye Color Identifier - IrisIQ. Every identification after the onboarding demo requires a Pro subscription. There is no free tier and no lifetime plan.
3. Apple Media Services Terms
In addition to these Terms, your use of the app is subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement: Apple Standard EULA.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to submit illegal content or attempt to abuse the API (automated bulk requests, circumventing rate limits, scraping, etc.). Do not rely on AI estimates for fraudulent purposes. We may suspend access for violations.
5. Educational disclaimer
AI-generated eye color identifications, shade breakdowns, rarity scores, and pattern notes may be inaccurate, incomplete, or contain errors. These are educational estimates, not medical advice. IrisIQ is not a medical device and should not be used for diagnosis or health decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns. We do not guarantee specific color outcomes or rarity classifications.
6. Intellectual property
The app, branding, and design are owned by TQ Tech. You retain rights to the photos you input. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the identification service.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on AI-generated estimates.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms or the app features. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
